Based close to York in the UK, we are a founding member of the Yorkshire Biomedical Consultants Association (YBCA).

Working with an extensive network of experienced associates, Medwise can provide preclinical and clinical support from a single expert or a flexible multidisciplinary team as needed, to meet Client requirements. Contracts can be based on a project fee, daily rate or a retainer.

The Principal Consultant has been Board Certified as an Expert in General Toxicology (DABT) for over 20 years. Originally qualified as a biochemist and with a PhD in drug metabolism and pharmacodynamics he has 25 years industrial experience in multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare and contract research companies. In addition, he has 16 years ‘hands on’ multi-site research management experience with the last 12 years as Corporate Product Safety Assurance Manager. He served on a Group Medical Committee for 12 years, on CEN and ISO Technical Committees for 13 years and has been an ISO WG Convenor (ISO 10993) for 7 years.
